What Are The Effects Of Accidentally Ingesting Carmex?

I accidently ingested carmex a couple of days ago...my mouth still feels balmy and my right eye has started to have a dull throbing pain....weds morning I had an endoscopy I was wondering if the ingestion after that procedure would cause a more adverse effect

Hi

Carmex contains menthol which could be the cause of any burning sensation.

In case you have any burning sensation in the throat, you can postpone endoscopy for a few days.Otherwise it does not affect your the endoscopy procedure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
