What Are The Findings From The High Resolution Computed Tomography Scan Report Of Lungs?
My HRCT scan shows Fibro nodular changes in right upper zone with underlying traction bronchiectasis. Early cylindrical bronchiectatic changes in bilateral lower zone. Lung parenchyma is otherwise normal in attenuation and morphology. Trachea is normal. No pleural effusion. Bony cage is normal. What does this mean
Hello Thanks for your query. Your chest X-ray report tells that you have some fibro-bronchiectatic changes in the lung that means the airway in your lung in some portion got dialated and in other areas got constricted probably because of some underlying lung fibrosis. This can lead to recurrent infections in the lung and hemoptysis in future. Be in touch with a pulmonologist. Get yourself thoroughly examined. Thank you. Regards, Dr Arnab Maji
