What Are The Findings Shown In The Following CT Scan Report?
Hello sir,my father had an stroke on Wednesday.the impression that found in CT scan report was left temporo -parental region infract,Lacunar infract- bilateral basal ganglia & in right parietal periventricular region. Cerebral & cerebellar atrophy.doctor prescribed levipil 500 and roseday gold..so sir I m really worried about him.sir, how many days it will take time to recover it and is it possible to repeat the stroke again.now he can t listen and speak properly and some confusion to study the thing
It is possible that a repeat stroke can occur but it is difficult to predict if or when this would occur. IN many places, 1 out of 4 persons who have a first stroke , may have a second one.
The chance of a second stroke can be reduced by lifestyle changes such as controlling blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, healthy diet.
Recovery from this stroke may be slow and it may be incomplete. Some persons do not recover fully. He would require therapy to help improve his function.
I hope this helps
