What Are The Harmful Effects Of MRSA In Lungs On Pregnancy?
I am 36 weeks pregnant and have been diagnosed with pleurisy in the left lung and shoulder area. I have also had an abcess in my armpit that drained what appears to be MRSA from my experience in the past of seeing what it looks like. I am waiting on the results but wondering what effects on my pregnancy it will have if its MRSA in my lung and if that means its in my blood?
Hi...you have pleurisy which is localised infection of lungs... If you suffer from high grade fever; chills; lethargy; giddiness then it indicates spread of infection from lungs to blood...otherwise adverse effects to foetus at 35 weeks may lead to preterm labour...
