What Are The Knots On Lower Back Along With Severe Shooting Pain?

I have been having pain in my back for a couple weeks. I have knots on both sides of my lower back and have pain shooting from my back to my left leg. Sometimes I cannot move without having severe pain or after constant movements. Can hardly sleep. What may it be?

Hi, Welcome to healhcaremagic. I have gone through your query ,it seems to prolapse intervertibral disc.Primary treatment of this condition is bed rest and analgesics (such as tramadol 50mg three times a day).MRI lumbar spine will be useful to confirm diagnosis and rule out other diseases. I think my advise will be of some use to you.
