Hello,
Sometimes there are hormonal changes in the body which result in spotting or irregular bleeding and As you are already 45, I believe you have started developing symptoms of the premenopausal stage which is quite a normal thing at this age.
Long term intake of
bromocriptine in some people may have fallen asleep suddenly during their usual daily activities (such as talking on the phone, driving). In some cases, sleep occurred without any feelings of
drowsiness beforehand. This sleep effect may occur anytime during treatment with bromocriptine even if you have used this medication for a long time. If you experience increased sleepiness or fall asleep during the day, I suggest you not drive or take part in other possibly dangerous activities.
This medication may either increase or decrease your blood pressure levels. It’s better to check blood pressure on a daily basis.
Nausea, vomiting,
dizziness, drowsiness,
lightheadedness, tiredness,
constipation, or headache may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, you can write me back or visit your doctor who prescribed you this medication.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
