Hello,
It is my pleasure to help you,
As you had hepatitis C infection for last 4 years but your lab tests has come as negative.
15%–25% of people will clear off the virus without treatment because of the reasons that are not known.
Approximately 75%–85% of people who become infected with the Hepatitis C virus develop chronic or lifelong infection.
Many people with Hepatitis C do not have symptoms and do not know they are infected.
Even though a person has no symptoms, the virus can still be detected in the blood.
For Individual like you I would have suggested
To use new needles and syringes when ever you require them
Avoid substance Abuse
Universal precautions to be practised.
You should consult your Gastroenterologist for the further query. He will be very helpful to you.
Thank you.
