Thank you, I am 48 soon to be 49. I believe I am starting menapause. I all of a sudden noticed I am gaining weight at a rapid rate. I have gained 18 lbs. since November (last week of). However, I also have been consistant in drinking a protein shake every am. It is raw and organic I drink 1 scoop with coconut milk and 1 serving of blueberries and hemp and chia seeds. Do you think this is the reason for the weight gain, or hormones or menapause? Can you offer a solution. I weigh 230lb. Should I be eating 1600 calories? and how often, 3x/day or 6x/day. I've read conflicting articles.
