What Are The Nutritional Food I Can Take During Pregnancy?
Hello Doctor, I am 6 months pregnant. Can u please suggest me natural foods that contain high source of iron and calcium. I am taking Almond(3-4), dried grapes, walnut, dates(3), honey(2 spoons) daily, greens (weekly thrice), sprouted green grams (4 days/wk), plus I take multi grain kanji drink daily. Please suggest me what else to take. I am a vegetarian. Thanks and regards. Nandini.
Thanks for your query. Ideally, you should also be taking a pre-natal multivitamin that contains iron. Soy based foods contain moderate amounts of iron. Eat your greens and soy products with citric jiuces, which facilitate absorbtion of iron by the gut.
