What Are The Possible Side Effects Of Having Pravastatin?
what are the side effects of pravastatin? I d been taking atorvastatin and developed extremely painful joints ( I have RA) and had to stop taking that drug. My neurologist wants me to take 10 mg of pravastatin but I have concern that I ll have the joint pain again. what are the OTHER possible side effects
Joint pain and muscle ache are the most common side effects of statins. Unfortunately, we do not have a better replacement for the and only hope that clients would be able to tolerate the side effects as the benefits of taking these drugs are huge. Other side effects include liver damage but this is not as common as the aches.
I hope this helps. I wish you well and feel free to ask for more information should need be. Thanks. Dr. Ditah, MD.
