What Are The Possible Treatments For Cat Bite ?
Hi sir my son is 4.5 year old last week he got bitten by domestic cat a small amount of blood also come out after that the wound get little bit swelled but no any other sign,but family pressure this Tuesday i take him to the doc he gave him one shot of rabipur and suggest to take another two shot but my questions is one shot sufficient for him because he get very scared of injections its became very difficult to me see him crying plz give me suggestions asap

It is a good question,first of all you should note that rabies is prevetable Not treatable.hence all parents need to understand it is better that we can take preventive care as it is available,need not worry about his cry,he will cry because it is a injection needs to be pricked will cause small painful reaction,pl complete the course advised by your Dr ok

Hi, I had read your query and understand your concern. According to my opinion if your cat is immunised properly then there is no need of any anti-rabies vaccination but an injection of tetanus should be given. If your cat is not vaccinated properly then I would suggest three injections of RABIPUR or if the cat remains alive for more than 10 days then there is no need to give the injection.
