What Are The Possible Treatments For Lymph Node Enlargement ?
Hi Doctor,
I am 25 years old, I have developed the Lymph Node enlargement past 2 months. I was earlier given antibiotics. Now as per ENT's suggestion i am done with USG for neck, chest x-ray and blood test for CBC, ESR and PS. Ultrasound scan report says -Discrete lymphnodes in the right posterior triangle region- Koch's to be excluded.
X-ray and blood reports are normal. Further am suggested to go for Ultrasound guided FNAC. Is this leading towards TB? Should i go for PCR for Koch's?
Please suggest what next has to be done.

hello. it seems like from your reports that you may be having tuberculosis of your lymph nodes, please dont worry and go ahead with your tests. ultrasound guided FNAC is the right test to do at resent and will confirm the diagnosis, you dont have to do PCR. thanks
