What Are The Possible Treatments For Raised Itchy Lump Behind The Ear ?

I have had a tiny itchy raised area in my ear. I can feel it but cannot see it unless I take a mirror pull my ear back and look into another mirror so I can see it. It's flesh colored. I have had it for about a couple of years and it hasn't gotten any bigger but itches off and on. No fluid comes out of my ear. Some times I have ear aches. I'm seeing my family doctor who says I have fluid behind my eardrum but it looks clear and not inflamed. No ear infections. She tried putting me on nasal spray and Sudafed but it didn't help. I was wondering if this itchy bump could be connected to the other problem.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi. The small lump can be a cyst or a hemangioma , as it is there for a long time without causing major problem. It is better to show to an ENT Surgeon to get the correct diagnosis to decide whether you need surgical removal. It cures the problem as well as confirms the diagnosis.
