What Are The Reasons For Having Late Periods, Cramping, Back Pain, Sweating And Negative Pregnancy Tests?
My husband and I are trying to conceive. My periods are regular around 28 days. It has been 32 days since my last period. I have been experiencing mild cramping, backaches, severe acne, and most recently night sweats. I just took a pregnancy test and it was negative. What else could be going on?
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. If you have always had regular 28-day cycles and never missed a period, it is more likely that you may have conceived. Home pregnancy tests read well when performed 3-7 days after a missed period with a fresh early morning sample of urine. If you have not done so, please repeat the test. Else, you can go for the assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres for an earlier and better clarification. Further, a trans-vaginal sonogram helps to know the status of the pelvic organs. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
