What Are The Reasons For Pain Above Belly Button And Sweating Of A 12 Year Old?
Hi, my 12 year old daughter has constant pain just above her belly button sometimes coming down to just below her belly button, is currently taking lactulouse and is going to the bathroom regular, but now starting to complain about sweating all the time

Following two causes needs to considered as cause of symptoms
1. Worm infestation;it usually causes umbilical colicky pain
2. Excessive intake of laxative like Lactulose will lead to pain in abdomen.
Slowly stopping lactulose over next week and empirical treatment with antihelmenthic like Albendazole will be quite beneficial.
