What Are The Reasons For Pain In Abdomen And Urge For Bowel Movement After Having Food?

Hi I suffer from diverticuli and over the last 3 days I ve had excruciating pain in my lower and upper abdomen, feeling sick and when I do manage to eat anything at all I need to go the the toilet within a couple of hours and my movements are very soft but not runny.

Many of the individual have hyperactive gastro-colic reflex. Any distension of stomach may cause peristaltic activity of the colon causing urge to defecate
