Dr. My wife has benign cyst in both breasts.she has no thyriod .is it a serious matter and what are the reasons of having cysts .

Cysts have no certain or identifiable cause. And since they are benign you need not worry. Large cysts, or those which cause discomfort in any way can be excised. (removed by surgery).
