I called the NHS line and they said just Keep an eye on her she s now in bed woke up with wind and cried out like she was in discomfort I have gave her some more cows Milk and has settled her back off.. She is also teething so I am unsure if it s because of what she swallowed earlier or if it could be teething.. Any help would be great as I m worried and don t fee I should call emergency or go to a&be as she s not in severe pain?
This is Dr. Viraj Shah, Master of Public Health answering your query. As the child has settled off right now after having milk, there seems to be no emergency.
It is true that the annoyed and irritated child can be due to teething process, too. I would suggest that you look for signs such as her excessive crying that cannot be stopped, excessive sleeping, refusal to eat etc. If she is fine and comfortable otherwise, there is no need to worry.
I hope this information helps you. Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.
