What Are The Repercussions Of Insertion Of Vagisil Inside The Vagina?

If vagisil is accidentally put in the vagina instead of on the outside of the vagina, what could be the major side effects? And if one of the effects is swelling on the outer lips, would it go down even if monistat is being taken during the treatment process from home?

Hi,

Vagisil cream is used to relieve itching in outer parts, labia. If inserted inside vagina it can irritate the mucosal lining. Vagisil will help swelling to go down. Monistat is used inside vagina to treat fungal infection. You can use antihistamines such Benadryl or Citerizine for itching and swelling.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
