What Are The Repercussions Of Second Dose Of Paracetamol In A Child?

My husband has accidentally given my 7 year old a double dose of paracetamol. He had carpol sixplus 5ml at 1pm. My husband has just given him 7.5 ml of callow sixplus and 5ml of paracetamol from a bottle that the doctor prescribed so that my little boy can have the medicine in school tomorrow. I am a bit panicky Please advise

Hi,

The first thing I would say that there is no need to panic. I understand that your child was given the dose of Paracetamol but I am pretty sure that this does is not going to cause any adverse effect on your child as the maximum daily dose is quite high. So, do not panic and do not worry. And please stick to the doses in future.
