What Are The Repercussions Of Taking Extra Dosage Of Microgest During Pregnancy?
Hi am 21 years old. N am pregnant on 36 weeks. My regular doctor suggest to keep on microgest 100 mg capsule. But unfortunately am eating 200mg microbe capsule... So am very worried about this? Please tell me this medicine can be bad affect on baby?
Microgest doesn't affect the baby. It is given for the safety of the baby. To support pregnancy. Do not worry about the dosage. Continue the same dose that you are taking now. Do not change in any medication that you are taking now. Continue the same. Do not be anxious.
You mentioned you are taking 200 mg Microgest now. Continue that. Do not reduce dose. Whatever the prescribed dose is, you should not reduce dose without consulting your doctor and planning for delivery.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Jasmine Jagan, General & Family Physician
