What Are The Risks In Flying After Installing Urethral Stent?

My wife had a uretral stent installed seven days ago due to a slight tear in ureter from the movement of a kidney stone through the ureter. She also had some very small ruptures in her kidney due to a burst in the kidney caused by a stone clogging the ureteric junction at the ureter-bladder junction. Surgery appears to have gone well; she still has pain and discomfort but no fever and urine is getting progressively less bloody. We are in Scotland and want to fly home to USA. What are the risks posed by pressure changes in the plane? What are the other risks? thanks!

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if post surgical phase is uneventful then there would be no problem in travel by air and this no need to worry about this still better to have a word with surgeon because surgeon would be the last judge, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
