General & Family Physician 's  Response
As she has heart disease and diabetes, you should immediately take her to hospital for admission. Both typhoid fever and malaria are serious infections especially in patients with heart disease and diabetes. Diabetic and heart patients are more prone to develop complications of malaria and typhoid such as gastro-intestinal perforation, sepsis and multi-organ failure. So hospitalization is needed for full and complete monitoring of patient’s vital status such respiratory rate, heart rate, ECG, electrolytes, blood pressure and blood sugar. This is possible only in hospital under full medical supervision.
Also both typhoid fever and malaria are very resistant kind of infections. Both usually do not respond to medicines easily and sometimes long hospital stay is required for complete recovery. So don’t do delay and take to hospital where further management will be done under medical supervision.
I hope this information will help you. I will be happy if you ask another question
