What Are The Side Effect Of Using Melacare Forte Cream?

hi doctor. i am thinking to use melacare forte cream so before i go for it i wanna know your suggestion and views of melacare forte cream. i heard from some of my friends that melacare forte cream just take out a layer of skin by which its look fairer n while we stop using it our faces becomes dark then ever before ..... thanks a lot .....

I can understand your concern regarding the safety of Melacare forte cream.
Incomplete data, purpose of using melacare forte cream not mentioned.

Melacare forte cream contains a potent steroid, teritinoin and hydroquinone
It should not be used for more than 2-3 months and that too without the supervision of a doctor for fear of steroid related side effects like:

Following side effects can occur:

Pimples, photosensitivity (if exposed to the sun while having the cream on, it will thus result in photo-allergic reactions,this will result in darkening of the skin) skin thinning and telangiectasia (veins beneath the skin become prominent), facial hair growth, specially troublesome in females.

So, you are advised to consult a dermatologist for your skin problem.
