What Are The Side Effects Of Allerzet In A Toddler?
Good day! I just want to know if allerzet syrup has bad side effects to my 3 yrs old son. He is taking for a year due to his skin ashma. Everytime he is irritated i gave him allerzet and it will relieve but the day after tomorrow he will irritated again of his skin ashma. What will i do? Im afraid that it will effect to his organ
Levocetirizine (Allerzet) is a safe drug and apart from causing drowsiness, it has hardly caused other side effects in the recommended dosage.
But you need to give him regularly without a break. For this drug to work well, a certain amount needs to be in the body at all times. It will not affect his organ if you adhere to the doses prescribed by your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
