What Are The Side Effects Of Allopurinol?
I have gout and was prescribed 300mg of allopurinol a day which didn t quite do it for me .. a friend is taking 600 mg a day so I went to that level and my foot felt great. Saw my doc a few days later and he said no he wanted me to take Ulloric at 40 mg.. that didn t do it so then we went to 80mg a day .. my foot feels a little funky what is the risk of 600 mg of allopurinol? I am 75 run most days 3-5 miles a day and lift weights just about every day for an hour. Any thoughts.

It may be used carefully in old age patients with cardiac or renal problem patients.
You may take Febuxostat as prescribed by your doctor.
