I iam supposed to take Arimidex after I finish radiation for breast cancer, I had a tumor removed Aug. 25th. My tumor tested positive for estrogen, I am wanting information about taking a natural estrogen blocker as the side effects for Arimidex are pretty disturbing. Thank you
Hi Thanks for trusting HealthCare magic for your health problems.
Side effects of arimidex are weakness, hot flashes, mood changes, insomnia, joint pain, nausea and vomiting. If side effects are pretty much disturbing you should consult treating doctor to change the drug. In my opinion if estrogen receptor positive cells are found in biopsy alternative medicine is tamoxifen.
