What Are The Side Effects Of Benadryl Over Dosage?
I have a son who is taking excessive amounts of Benadryl he is also on a maintenance dosing of methadone,he has been experiencing some very extreme side effects.i am assuming that in high doses the Benadryl can cause major problems alone if not taken properly?Not to mention the methadone also.A very concerned mom.

Benadryl is an antihistamine and the common side effects are drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, dry mouth and stomach upset.
You did not mention how much of Benadryl your son took but in most of the overdoses, the side effects will be much more pronounced. He may be sleeping for a longer period. You should consult a doctor if his condition does not improve.
