What Are The Side Effects Of Bigomet?

Hi.. I had a D&C in the month of April 2016, after review with my Gynec, she prescribed me to take folic acid(for pregnancy planning),and to reduce my weight BIGOMET 500(My Ht & Wt : 5.2 ft & 66) THRICE A DAY, and thyroid tablet(my thyroid level :5.46).Is it good to take BIGOMET 500? What are the side effects of this tablet?will it imbalance my Sugar level?I m much worried about this.. Pls do give a reply.

Hello,

Usually Bigoment 500 is recommended for any possible ovary problems like PCOS. At the same time, we can achieve that the patient can lose weight.

However, we can include in the weight loss program but not as primary med for weight loss.
So, to me most likely your doctor prescribed for any ovary issue, as long as you find it difficult to get pregnant plus have thyroid issues.

Thyroid problems will cause you to reduce chances for pregnancy and to get increased weight. If you treat it adequately, can achieve to get pregnant and reduce weight at the same time.

With regards to effects in blood sugar, bigomet can cause reduced blood glucose, so should get them checked regularly, and record the results for reference.
