What Are The Side Effects Of Clonidine?

My wife has been on Clonidine ).2 mg for several years. She has had many bad side effects Nightmares, dry eye and mouth and others. She also takes two other meds for high bloodpressure. Nadolol (she has non-alcoholic seriosis of liver) and benicar Last week our Doctor suggested to go off Clonidine by lower the dose to 0.1 mg for three days and then stopping. Right now her blood pressure is up to 180/70 and she does feel well and has a stomach ache. What should we do

itis used to treat hypertention and attention deficithyperactivitydisorder it has got many side effect keeping in view so many problem including liver function it is better to avoid these drugs.
