Mucus is like thick gum. To breath & extract mucus, I had to take Deriphyllin retard 300 tablet & Mucolite 10MG tablet twice a day besides two puffs of asthlin and two puffs of seroflo 250 twice daily for the last more than 3 months regularly. Still there is no regular improvement though these medicine help a bit. I would like to know the side affects, how long I can continue this treatment and any other alternative to loosen the mucus. I feel 100% OK when the mucus is out
