Duphaston 10 mg contains
dydrogesterone which is a synthetic
progesterone and has a similar action to the female hormone, progesterone. It is used to treat menstrual disorders in women caused due to a lack of hormone. It is also used to reduce the risks of miscarriage or abortions.
Side effects of Duphaston are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or constipation, indigestion, stomach pain, GIT upset, irregular
uterine bleeding, changes in sleep pattern, acnes, facial hair growth, delayed
wound healing, easily bruising or bleeding, changes in body weight, dry mouth, fatigue, tiredness, breast tenderness and enlargement, changes in sexual drive, difficulty in micturition, mood swings, depression,
vaginal discharge, vaginal bleeding, tiredness, loss of appetite, hot flushes, headache, sweating, allergic reactions etc. If these side effects persist for long or bother you then you should consult your doctor promptly for medical attention.
