Hi, Ecospirin AV contains Aspirin and Atorvastatin in combination. Aspirin is an antiplatelet drug which helps to prevent clogging of platelets and thrombosis and embolism. This drug is commonly prescribed in patients with prevalence for thrombotic events such as sudden cardiac arrest, acute stroke, etc. Atorvastatin is an anti-lipidemic drug which are prescribed to correct the high blood levels of various cholesterol including Triglycerides. Side of Aspirin are stomach upset, gastritis, heartburn due to gastric acid reflux, indigestion, bleeding. Proton pump inhibitors are prescribed along with aspirin to prevent the gastrointestinal side effects. Proper balanced diet is advised for health and to prevent gastritis. Take care.
