What Are The Side Effects Of Eltroxin And Gemer In A Diabetic Patient?
Hello Sir,This is Ganesh from vishakapatnam. My mother is a Diabetic & Thyriod patient. she is advised to take Electroxin early morning 6 am & Gemer 0.5 mg at 8 AM after breakfast and Glycomet 500 mg after dinner at 9 PM every day. She is getting shivering. Please give me the solution
Gemer induced hypoglycemia. Based on the history your mother seems to be suffering from hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) apparently due to the anti-diabetic medicine Gemer. Consult her doctor to adjust the dose of prescribed medications or for an effective but a safer alternative to control her blood sugar.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
