General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since you have history of OCD and Nexito 10mg suits you, you should not stop taking it suddenly because it will cause withdrawal (irritability, sleeplessness, numbness in the hands and feet, etc) symptoms. You should inform the treating doctor so that the doses can be tapered. Yes, all the tablets have side effects, it depend on the dose you have been prescribed and the body's response to it.

Tetrafol plus is not recommended in patients below 18 yrs of age(you have not mentioned your age here). Zorab DSR is used to treat gatroesophgeal reflux and peptic ulcer diseases (it may be given in combination with other medications to prevent acid reflux due to medicines prescribed). Alpraz D effecively treats panic attacks, sleep disorders & seizures. Escigress-CZ is used to treat anxiety disorder and depression.

Medications effectively treat OCD. But Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy is only recommended when medicines don't work. TMS is a non-invasive therapy which stimulates neuronal activity in different regions of the brain by electrical currents (high intensity pulsed magnetic beams).

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
