What Are The Side Effects Of Feldene On Kidneys And Liver?
I am 51. As long as I can remember I have had what Drs thought were Migranes. I have also suffered back spasms for this time. In 1995 A Dr who specializes in elderly care suggested Feldine (piroxicam), To me this has been a miracle . Though the symptoms are still there for the most part thier now tolerable. I will add I bet this is why Meriweather Lewis commited suicide in the early 1800s. Without Piroxicam I have a bulge in my neck. I take 20 mg every 7-10 days. My question is, What long term effects can this do to my kidneys and liver.

Piroxicam drug may cause elevation of blood pressure, decreased urine output put, it may cause papillary necrosis of the kidney. It is dangerous to take renal failure cases.
On liver it may cause liver cell failure, drug induced liver injury, and elevated liver enzymes et cetera. In elderly patients it is more dangerous than young.
