I have been taking Fosomax for a little over four years. I have just recently been told that my back has destabilized so the endocrinologist is looking into it. A shot once a year may be my next step. What is it, what does it do, and what are the side effects?

it is used for treating osteoporosis.can cause gastric irritation. take advise of treating doctor. if requered can switch over to once a year dose and monitour the condition.can also used in menopausal owman to treat osteoporosis.can cause esophageal ulcer
