Hi Doctor, I am 26 yr and trying to concieve from last 1.6 years.I have irregular periods(like it starts with spotting and scanty bleeding) .Right now am under treatment and i am taking metformin 3 times a day . and i have taken clomid from day 2till5 days.I have done follicular study on day 10 and follicle seen on left ovary was 16X11mm ,right ovary was 11X12mm . Endometrial thickness 6mm.On 12day it was 18X14mm ,right ovary was 12X14mm . Endometrial thickness 9mm.Doctor gave me one more HCG 5000 injection. And now she asked me to have a scan on day15th.What is the chance of getting pregnant?..And is there any side effectsfor this injection?.. Doctor Pls reply Sani
Nausea, vomiting, pain at the injection site or pelvic pain, weight gain can occur as side effect to hCG injection. Continue with the fertility treatment. Regular folic acid supplement should also be taken. The chance of pregnancy will definitely improve with fertility treatment.
