What Are The Side Effects Of Hydrocodone Acetaminophen?
My mother has been prescribed hydrocodone acetaminophen to relieve pain associated with skin cancer biopsies. She is worried about side affects (addition). Is there a non-narcotic pain reliever she can try instead? Thanks. Steve YYYY@YYYY

Went through your post, most of people are afraid of taking narcotic analgesics and that is the reason why narcotic analgesics are underused by physicians, short course of narcotics for only few days don't cause addiction or any other problem except mild sedation, in your case one could advice NSAIDS for pain releaf but they are toxic to both stomach and kidney so best thing would be continue the meds advised by your doctor.
