Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Ibuprofen is a Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) commonly used to reduce fever and treat pain or inflammation caused by many conditions such as a headache, toothache, back pain, arthritis, or minor injury.
Its common side effects include
heartburn, inflammation of the stomach,
stomach ulcer, bleeding and kidney damage on prolonged use. It should not be used along with BP lowering medications, blood thinners or if you have the stomach ulcer.
Mobic (Meloxicam) is also an NSAID commonly prescribed in the treatment of
osteoarthritis,
rheumatoid arthritis, and
muscular pain. It is also known to cause similar side effects and has similar contraindications.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
