sore throat, swelling in your face or tongue, burning in your eyes, skin pain followed by a red or purple

Common Januvia side effects may include:
runny or stuffy nose, sore throat;

A more exhaustive list is found on the package insert when you pick up your prescription.
With regard to tumeric, it is important to know that you may experience lower blood sugar with the addition of tumeric to your regimen so be on the alert for signs of
low blood sugar and discuss this with your prescribing doctor. Other issues that may arrive with tumeric use is its blood thinning effect (caution if on blood thinners) and its propensity to worsen gallstones.
I hope this answers your query. Healthy Regards, Kathy Shattler, MS,RDN
