Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Lactogen is safe and does not cause any harm but should be avoided if
bloating and
diarrhea will occur. It should be given after the breast milk if the baby is not satisfied (crying) because breast milk is the best for baby.
I can give following advice to increase breast milk production:
• Breastfeed should be given every 2 hours as suckling reflex induces the breast milk production.
• Proper and effective attachment of the baby to breast and offers both breast equally.
• Take jeera, high protein diet, wheat, garlic, and fresh fruits like papaya and orange.
• Drink 2-3 liters of water daily.
• Take at least 1-2 glass of milk daily.
• Natural remedies like drumstick leave/juice also induce breast milk production.
If above advice will not work then I will prescribe the following medication:
Granule galact with milk.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
