Hello thanks for choosing HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. Lamictal is Lamotrigine and the drug is one of mood stabiliser drugs. The drug is a safe drug but in some individuals it can cause serious headache. Nausea, dizziness, sedation, slight restlessness, sleepiness etc are common dose related side effects. In some individuals the drug is known to cause skin rashes and these rashes can progress to serious systemic skin reaction or may complicate into drug induced Stevan's Johnson's syndrome. This is a dermatological emergency and requires urgent treatment. If she has developed rashes, blisters all over body then in my opinion you should stop giving the drug immediately and report to an ER or consult her psychiatrist. Provide her proper fluids and nutrition till she sees a doctor.
Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care
