Latuda is composed of 'lurasidone', which is an
antipsychotic medicine.
It is used to treat
schizophrenia in adults.
Common side effects with use of Latuda include: psychomotor retardation, akathisia (
movement disorder characterized by a feeling of inner restlessness),
basal ganglia disease, bradykinesia (slowness of movements), cogwheel rigidity, drowsiness, hypokinesia,
muscle rigidity, nausea, Parkinson's disease, sedation, tremor, altered serum glucose and drooling.
You need to review with your treating doctor about the dosage of the medication, if you notice any of the above side effects, which makes you bothersome.
