Levaquin is composed of 'levofloxacin', which is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that fights bacteria in the body.
It is used to treat bacterial infections of the skin, sinuses, lungs, kidneys, bladder, or
prostate.
Common side effects of use of Levaquin is:
Diarrhea.
Rarely, it can cause abdominal cramps,
tendinitis, calf
muscle pain, redness and swelling of the skin.
In case any of such symptoms occur, you may need to go in for change in the antibiotic medication.
Kindly follow the advise as given by your doctor and do the necessary follow-up as suggested.
