Hi, Lupigest contains progesterone which is a female sex hormone is used to treat menstrual and pregnancy related issues that are caused due to hormonal imbalance. It is also used along with estrogen as a part of hormonal replacement therapy for preventing endometrial hyperplasia. Side effects of Lupigest are nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, abdominal bloating, dizziness, headache, irregular uterine bleeding, spotting between periods, breast tenderness and enlargement, headache, depression, hot flushes, vaginal discharge, joint pain, muscle pain, weakness, fatigue, vaginal bleeding, mood swings, urinary incontinence, fever and chills, chest pain and discomfort, allergic reactions etc. So, vaginal bleeding, irregular menstrual cycles, bleeding or spotting between periods, vaginal discharge etc., may develop as common side effects of this medication.
