What Are The Side Effects Of Mercilon Oral Contraceptive?

Hi. I've been taking the Mercilon oral contraceptive for about two months now and I think it's making me feel depressed, esepcially just before my period. I've been crying for no reason and my mood swings between being perfectly happy to very upset constantly throughout the course of the day. I have one more month to complete before my next doctors appointment but I'm not sure I can take another month of feeling this low and upset. It's made me start to question a lot of things, esepcially the relationship I'm in which has only started happening since I've been taking the pill. I finished my current pill cycle today and am wondering if I should just stop taking it completely?
