I was prescribed Mehtylpred due soft tissue pain from an auto accident. I took the first day medications and had swollen/sore throat, stomach pain, chest pain, headaches, night sweats and constant urination. I have stopped taking them since the reaction was more painful. I did have graves disease/hyperthyroidism and was allergic to Propylthiouracil/methimazole but now I am hypo since my subtotal thyroidectomy. It s been two days since my last pill and I still have night sweats and constant urination. The chest pain has become of pressure against my chest. When should this all stop? I have taken about 3 showers during the night because of the sweat. I only sweat when I sleep. The doctor that prescribed my meds and advise to discontinued it and advise to continue to take metaxalone 800 mg and diclofen 50 mg. Each three times daily. Hydrocodone 5-325 mg as needed for pain. Are These medication the cause of lingering side effects?
