Could you please list for me the side effects of the drug Metoprolol as I appear to be having trouble with my lungs since using this medication for my blood pressure in conjunction with Mycardis 80mgm. This is causing increased shortness of breath and therefore inability to comfortably use stairs or go up inclines. Thank you Robyn Jones

Thank you for seeking advice. Metoprolol can cause in some people transient narrowing of tubules of respiratory tract which in turn may cause shortness of breath and wheeze.If that is the case doctors will change the drug.Otherwise Metoprolol is a good drug
