What Are The Side Effects Of Nitrofurantoin?
Hi, my 92 year old mother is in a nursing home and the last year has been treated for bladder infections at least 4 or 5 times. What I have read about Nitrofurantoin Mono-MCR she shouldn t take it because she would be incapable of explaining any side effects. HELP!!!

Please note that Nitrofurantoin is a good drug for uncomplicated urine infection. And side effects can be detected by lab tests. And it is almost safe drug. You should go ahead.
